Polling the prospects: Which NFL coach would you most like to play for? | Who’s your favorite NFL player?

College Football 24/7 polled 25 prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft last month at the Reese’s Senior Bowl on various football-related questions that, collectively, provide some insight into how the NFL’s incoming talent views the game’s teams, coaches and players. This week, we’ll publish the poll results. Today’s question:

What is your favorite NFL team?

The Atlanta Falcons might not have won the Super Bowl, but they apparently won over their share of the 2017 draft class. Seven players polled chose the NFC champions as their favorite team, with a much more tradition-rich club — the Dallas Cowboys — finishing a close second with six votes. While the Falcons’ high-flying offense is an easy draw for new fans, those at the Senior Bowl weren’t all new.

"I’m from (the Atlanta area), so I’ve always been for the Falcons," said Alabama DT Dalvin Tomlinson. "Dan Quinn has done a great job there and it’s a team on the way up."

Full poll results (votes):

Atlanta Falcons (7)

Dallas Cowboys (6)

Pittsburgh Steelers (3)

Philadelphia Eagles (3)

Los Angeles Chargers (2)

Buffalo Bills (1)

Denver Broncos (1)

New England Patriots (1)

Seattle Seahawks (1)
