The police of the County of Merseyside, on the territory of which are the stadiums of Anfield Road and Goodison Park, where there are at-home, respectively, the clubs of Liverpool and Everton, has declared itself ready to supervise the matches of these two teams of the city in the north of England, when the Premier League resumes.

“Merseyside police is ready to provide all police services required for the matches played in our stadiums in the Premier League once the season has resumed,” said the police in Merseyside in a press release published by the local newspaper the Liverpool Echo.
