Spurs forward Jonathon Simmons was a scoring threat Friday night — as expected.
It seemed like everybody else in the Rising Stars Challenge was, too.
Simmons scored 19 points for the USA team, but it wasn’t enough as the World claimed a 150-141 victory over Simmons’ team.
Jamal Murray went for 36 points including 10 3-pointers to earn game MVP honors and Buddy Hield chipped in with 28 for the World.
Frank Kaminsky paced lead the USA with 27 and Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 11 rebounds.
