Noteworthy: The 6-foot-2 point guard and team captain came up huge for the Wolfpack in a 66-56 upset of Palomares League front-runner Bonita with 17 points, eight assists, four rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot. Later in the week, Claremont registered a 64-48 win over Ayala with Scalmanini chalking up eight points, nine rebounds, five assists and a steal. This season, Scalmanini, who has signed with Westmont College, is averaging 17 points, 4 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals.
