Special Olympics Belgium, the organization olympic for athletes with a mental disability, is launching Thursday, the first virtual edition of the National Games. During two days, 19.173 athletes of Special Olympics must complete a dozen challenges in five sporting disciplines : athletics, cycling, racket sports, football and swimming.
Among the challenges, two for each discipline, the athletes will have to do the ironing, juggle a ball, to achieve a fiscal balance or even walk, run, or ride a few miles. In order to achieve these challenges, the athletes will be supported by many sports personalities belgians including Roberto Martinez, Tessa Wullaert, Yanina Wickmayer, Dylan Borlée, Greg Van Avermaet and Fanny Lecluyse.
