The Steelers come to terms with another of their exclusive rights free agents, signing tight end Xavier Grimble to a one-year contract.

The NFL minimum for a player with one year of service time is $540,000.

Grimble, 24, appeared in 11 games for the Steelers in his first NFL season. He had 11 receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns. He was inactive for three games because of a groin injury and did not play in the regular-season finale against Cleveland with a rib injury. Grimble had only eight snaps in three postseason games and did not have a catch.
