The Bulls finished their six-game trip Sunday playing without Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade, Nikola Mirotic and Paul Zipser.
It wasn’t pretty.
With a 117-89 triumph, Tom Thibodeau’s Timberwolves swept the two-game season series from the Bulls, who finished their trip 2-4.
Andrew Wiggins scored 27 points, Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 and Gorgui Dieng posted 10 points and 13 rebounds as the Bulls were dominated from start to finish.
Bobby Portis and Doug McDermott each scored 16 to lead the Bulls.
Butler’s right heel has worsened, according to coach Fred Hoiberg. Wade’s right wrist that he hurt during Friday’s loss to the Suns hasn’t improved. Mirotic woke up with back spasms. And Zipser, who already had a sore left ankle, is throwing up at the team hotel.
