HOUSTON — There’s buying into the Patriot way and then there’s Trusting The Process. Patriots cornerback Logan Ryan, apparently, does both.
Ryan, a Berlin native wore an Allen Iverson jersey after a game this season and opened up about his Sixers’ fandom this week ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl against the Atlanta Falcons.
“I’m a South Jersey kid,” Ryan said. “I grew up with Philly sports all around me and Allen Iverson was the biggest thing at that time and one of the greatest athletes in the sense for being undersized and kind of had, obviously, a lot of heart. It’s actually good to see the Sixers on some nationally-televised games after a while.”
Beyond just watching games on television, with the excitement centered around rookie center Joel Embiid, Ryan deneme bonusu says that one of the first things on his offseason checklist is to check out a Sixers game at the Wells Fargo Center.

“Yeah,” Ryan said. “After the season, definitely. That would be cool. I was there years ago when they were in the playoffs against the Heat. I’m also checking out a lot of Celtics games. Isaiah Thomas is doing a lot of great things. He’s exciting. I think he’s the closest thing to Allen Iverson that you had for some time. He’s fun to watch.”
Ryan could get the best of both worlds by catching the Sixers and Celtics on Feb. 15 in Boston.
