The Association of tennis players (WTA) will modify its calendar, and its ranking system, frozen since the 16th of march, to take into account the suspension of the tournament due to the pandemic of Covid-19, a-t-she announced on Thursday.
The announcement regarding the ranking methodology comes three days after a similar decision of the ATP, the organization’s counterpart to the tennis professional male.
