The Knicks are in a tough spot.

Carmelo Anthony trade rumors are everywhere, overtaking the team’s season and distracting everyone from what’s shaping up to be another poor year at Madison Square Garden.

While the Knicks want to explore the market, there’s no going back now. It’s clear that the team wants to move from the Anthony era, and that finding a franchise the 32-year-old will actually accept a deal to is paramount.

Anthony’s Knicks run was disappointing despite his very good individual play, but it’s time to move on.
