After being canceled last year due to the closure of performance halls, the Chemin de Noël, which was to be presented in the early evening at the Palais Montcalm, will not take place.

The organizers made this decision due to weather conditions.
“Following the analysis of the weather cocktail announced for today and having at heart the safety and well-being of our public, artists, choristers, volunteers and staff of the Palais Montcalm and our team, we announce the cancellation of the concert, the Chemin de Noël, scheduled for this evening at 6 p.m. at the Raoul-Jobin hall of the Palais Montcalm. We thank you for your understanding and your unconditional support”, indicated the Violons du Roy, this morning, on social networks.
However, it will be possible to listen to an audio recording recorded after the general rehearsal on the regional web page of Radio-Canada Québec (ici.radio-canada.ca/chemindenoel) and on ICI musique Classique today at 6 p.m. There will be a rebroadcast on December 25 at 9 p.m. on ICI Musique.
Le Chemin de Noël will then be offered as a catch-up on the regional web page of Radio Canada Québec.
Le Chemin de Noël is a moment of contemplation, made up of songs and texts, presented to sold-out crowds featuring the choir La Chapelle de Québec, under the direction of Bernard Labadie, harpist Valérie Milot, organist Richard Paré, mezzo -guest soprano Julie Boulianne and actress Hélène Florent.
