Accenture will provide maintenance and support for the council’s new data analytics platform for 1.31 million

Telefónica, through its subsidiary Telefonica Soluciones de Informática y Comunicaciones de España, has been awarded a public contract for 1.51 million euros (1.83 million euros including tax) to provide hosting services for processing centers of data of the autonomous organization of Informatics of the Madrid City Council (IAM).

This public tender is also linked to the transfer of the centers from their current locations to those provided by Telefónica and the start-up of the two IAM data processing centers in the spaces provided by the winning company, according to the documentation of the public procurement portal and collects Europa Press.

In this context, Telefónica will provide the hosting service for the physical infrastructure, storage and IAM network connectivity at the facilities, as well as the “remote operation” service to carry out “basic operations” on the infrastructure.

The companies Kyndryl España, COS Mantenimiento and Evolutio Cloud Enabler also submitted bids to this tender.

On the other hand, Accenture has been awarded for 1.31 million euros (1.59 million euros with taxes) the provision of maintenance and support services for the new data analytics platform that serves all areas of government, districts and autonomous bodies of the Madrid City Council.

A total of 15 offers were submitted for this public contract, including companies such as Indra, Inetum, NTT Data, Telefónica, Ayesa or Babel, among others.
