MADRID, 4 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Bank of Spain launched its new Internet page (www.bde.es) this Thursday, with which it intends to improve user navigation.
The new, more intuitive website has a “more modern and attractive” design and a much greater presence of graphic elements.
As explained by the institution in a statement, the new architecture has been designed from the user’s point of view, with the aim of improving their experience and facilitating access to information in its different sections, which received more than 3 million visits. last year.
For this reason, a simpler structure has been created, not based on the internal organization of the Bank, but on a reduced number of general entries at the first level, among which the institutional content is distributed; information about its areas of activity; the services offered to citizens and to entities and professionals; the products it produces (mainly publications and statistics) and a section aimed especially at the media.
The website has a ‘newsletter’ delivery service that provides the user with greater control over the selection of content they are interested in receiving.
The Bank of Spain has also added a new search engine and “multiple” filters to its website that make it easier to find the desired content.
The remodeling of the website is part of one of the initiatives of the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan, aimed at strengthening channels and improving the formats used to transmit information from the Bank of Spain.
