MADRID, 14 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Government has approved this week the provision of citizen assistance service through videoconference at the Cadastral Information Points managed by territorial public administrations.

The driving force behind this provision, according to the Government, is the technological advance of the different communication channels with citizens, which justifies and advises the expansion and review of the services that the Cadastral Information Points can provide, as well as the recognition of the telematic provision modality of some of them, without it being necessary, in these cases, to travel to the Cadastral Information Point.

The resolution published this week in the Official State Gazette (BOE) approves the implementation of the citizen service service through videoconference at the Cadastral Information Points, which demonstrates their essence as intermediaries between the citizen and the Administration, by putting at the service of citizens the material and personal means that this attention through videoconference requires.

In this way, the citizen is assisted in making the appointment and during it, making up for the lack of means that the citizen may have and, in any case, avoiding travel to the Management by those who may be attended by videoconference. They have the necessary means to do so, a circumstance that is especially detected in small population centers.

The assistance of the Cadastral Information Point in providing citizen service by the Cadastre management officials through videoconference makes the new communication channels available to all, without being impeded by the lack of means and technological preparation, which is decisive. in rural areas, in particular, in population centers far from the Management Offices or with transportation and mobility difficulties in getting to them but, nevertheless, close to a Cadastral Information Point.

On the other hand, access to the reference value is incorporated into the consultation and certification service for unprotected data, as an integral part of the cadastral description of the properties, either for consultation or for obtaining certificates.

The entry into force of this regulation will be one month from its publication in the Official State Gazette, that is, February 11, 2024.
