The balance of the Casa del Rey in the treasury accounts amounts to 6.05 million euros in 2022, mostly deposited in different banks, the year in which it managed to save 273,643 euros, according to the breakdown of the execution of its budget corresponding to the past financial year, published by the Palacio de la Zarzuela.
Thus, at the end of last year, the treasury was 6.05 million, which represents an increase of 273,643 euros compared to 2021, when it reached 5.78 million euros, according to data audited by the General State Intervention. In this way, the Casa del Rey has 5.3 million in funds deposited in financial entities; as well as 631,363 euros in the Bank of Spain and 91,159 euros in cash.
In addition, the State Headquarters had in 2022 an item of 8,431,150.00 euros. Regarding personnel expenses, they amount to 4.02 million euros, the highest item.
In the case of the salaries of the members of the royal family, they amount to 517,854 euros, of which 258,927 were for Felipe VI, 142,402 for Queen Letizia and 116,525 euros for Queen Sofía.
On the other hand, at the accounting closing date, Casa del Rey has debts with various creditors for a total of 764,309.41 euros while it maintains rights pending collection for a total of 133,691.48 euros.
