MADRID, 29 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Ibex 35 maintained optimism in the mid-session by recording a rise of 0.79%, thus standing at 9,565.4 integers, in such a way that it is trading again at the levels it registered at the end of July and beginning of August, just before the summer break that usually occurs this month.
One of the notable references for this Tuesday is the publication of the GfK index, which shows that German consumer confidence has registered a further deterioration for September, with the index standing at -25.5 points, compared to -24, 6 of the previous month, in such a way that it seems to indicate that consumption will not contribute to growth in the coming months and will be a drag on economic prospects.
In Spain, the INE has reported that retail trade registered an increase in its sales of 7.7% in July in relation to the same month of 2022, a rate eight tenths higher than that of the previous month.
Thus, in the mid-session, the largest increases in the Ibex 35 were recorded by Acciona Energía (4.45%), Solaria (3.52%), Aena (2.19%), Acciona (1.78%), Sabadell (1.67%), Meliá (1.58%) and Acerinox (1.53%). Only Grifols (-1.66%), Rovi (-0.20%), Merlin (-0.18%) and Colonial (-0.09%) were negative.
The main European indices were also trading with increases of 1.54% in London, 0.63% in Milan, 0.46% in Frankfurt and 0.36% in Paris.
On the other hand, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, rose 0.71%, to 85.02 dollars, while Texas stood at 80.68 dollars, 0.72 % further.
In the foreign exchange market, the price of the euro against the dollar fell to 1.0811 ‘green bills’, while in the debt market the interest demanded on the 10-year Spanish bond relaxed to 3.547% and the risk first fell slightly to 101 basis points.
