Specifically, after closing yesterday with a fall of 0.36%, the Madrid selective started the day conquering the psychological level of 9,100 points, in a session in which the data on industrial production in Spain and in which investors will be awaiting the release of eurozone retail sales and US employment data.
In the early stages of the session, the largest increases were registered by IAG (4.29%), Solaria (2.01%), Grifols (1.63%), Aena (1.47%) and CaixaBank (1. 42%), while on the opposite side were Merlin Properties (-2.04%) and Logista, which dropped almost 0.1%.
CaixaBank, which presented its results for the first quarter of 2023 early this Friday, achieved net attributable profit of 855 million euros, 21.1% more than the result recorded in the first quarter of 2022.
IAG also notified the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) of its quarterly accounts, which show losses after taxes and exceptional items of 87 million euros, which represents a decrease of 88.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. .
The rest of the European stock markets also opened this Friday with increases: 0.76% for Milan, 0.67% for Paris, 0.57% for London and 0.57% for Frankfurt.
Likewise, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood at a price of 73.44 dollars, with a rise of 1.3%, while Texas stood at 69.42 dollars. , with a rise of 1.25%.
