The Ibex 35 has started the session this Friday with a decrease of 0.4%, which has led the selective to 9,247.99 points, in a day in which the markets will be attentive to the intervention of the president of the Bank Central European Union (ECB), Christine Lagarde, in Aix en Provence (France).

Specifically, Lagarde has warned in an interview with ‘La Provence’ that the institution “will not sit idly by” if it observes a “simultaneous” rise in business margins and wages that poses a threat to the stability of the prices.

Investors will also remain awaiting statements by the ECB vice president, Luis de Guindos, in London, while the data from the employment report for the month of June will be published in the United States.

Likewise, during this day the macro references of industrial production in Germany, retail sales in Italy and the trade balance in France will also be announced.

In the early stages of this session, the biggest increases within the Ibex 35 were recorded by Bankinter (1.19%), Banco Sabadell (0.97%), ArcelorMittal (0.76%) and Colonial (0.53%) , while the most pronounced decreases were registered by Iberdrola (-3.47%), Repsol (-1.54%), Acciona (-0.93%) and Naturgy (-0.68%).

The main European stock markets opened this Friday with a mixed sign: Paris rose 0.22% and Milan, 0.04%, while London lost 0.27% and Frankfurt, 0.07%.

At the opening of the stock market, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, rose 0.55%, to $76.94, while Texas stood at $72.19, a 0.54% more.

In the currency market, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0881 ‘green bills’, while the Spanish risk premium was around 106.2 basis points, with the interest required on the 10-year bond at 3.378%.
