The Ibex 35 index of the Madrid Stock Exchange has started the session this Monday with a downward trend, in which investors will not count on the Wall Street reference due to a holiday, after a hectic last week in which the central banks were the main protagonists.
In this way, the selective of the Madrid Stock Exchange has started the session with a decrease of 0.31% that led the Ibex 35 to trade at 9,465 points.
The most bullish values at the beginning of the day were Solaria, with an increase of 3.10%, ahead of Ferrovial, with a rise of 2.18%, and Iberdrola, with a rise of 1.98%.
In contrast, the largest falls in the selective were carried out by Fluidra, with a drop of 1.17%, Meliá, with a drop of 1.16%, and Mapfre, with a drop of 1.02%.
Among the representatives of the banking sector in the Ibex 35 the increases were imposed, with the titles of Sabadell rising 1.90% and those of Caixabank 1.43%, while BBVA and Santander registered increases of 0.83% each ; Unicaja 0.59% and Bankinter 0.52%.
In the Old Continent, the main stock market indices also imposed the drops at the beginning of the day. Thus, the Parisian Cac 40 fell 0.50% at the opening, while the London Ftse100 lost 0.42% and the Frankfurt Dax 0.47%.
