The Ibex 35 has started the session this Monday with a decrease of 0.22%, which has led the selective to 9,417.37 points, in a week marked by the publication of business results from Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Tesla , ASML, Netflix and J.
Likewise, investors will remain attentive to the intervention of the president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Christine Lagarde, and that of the Irish representative on the ECB board and chief economist of the institution, Philip Lane, both in Germany.
Among the most outstanding macroeconomic references that will be released as of today are China’s GDP, the CPI in the euro area and in China, and new employment data in the United States.
In the early stages of this session, the biggest increases within the Ibex 35 were recorded by Fluidra (1.81%), Amadeus (1.15%), Endesa (0.51%), while on the other side the decreases the most pronounced were recorded by Grifols (-2.61%), Solaria (-0.98%), Acerinox (-0.97%) and Indra (-0.95%).
The main European stock markets also opened this Monday with a negative sign: 0.82% for Paris, 0.50% for Frankfurt, 0.42% for Milan and 0.41% for London.
At the opening of the stock market, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, fell 1.13%, to 78.97 dollars, while Texas stood at 74.44 dollars, a 1.17% less.
In the currency market, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.1233 ‘green bills’, while the Spanish risk premium was around 103.8 basis points, with the interest required on the 10-year bond at 3.517%.
