“We had the beer route and the cheese route. More and more people are interested in culinary heritage, people travel to taste. So, why not create a route and promote restaurants?” wondered Luc Boivin.
Quebec’s culinary emblem is recognized around the world.
This popularity, the owner of the Boivin cheese factory, would like to take advantage of more. He imagines a route that would introduce the different varieties of poutine throughout Quebec.
“Poutine is a food trend,” said Luc Boivin. The next wave is going to be the poutine […]. We see it in Europe, there are poutineries. The road will allow you to find the best poutine in Quebec. Sometimes people like it more sauce, less sauce, having cheese in the bottom, with grated cheese. There are no bad poutines. There is something for every taste.”
