Paris (France) and Rome (Italy) lead the list of most booked destinations on eDreams for Easter, in which the large presence of Spanish cities stands out, since six of the ten most requested places are national, according to a statement.
Specifically, this ‘top 10’ is made up, in this order, of Paris, Rome, Palma de Mallorca, Madrid, London (United Kingdom), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Barcelona, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Seville.
Apart from this list, the reservations collected on the platform also reflect that the tendency to travel north persists, with Bilbao and Santiago de Compostela being the ones that arouse the greatest interest in the area.
Furthermore, Spaniards who travel internationally mostly choose European capitals, which beyond those mentioned, which also include Lisbon (Portugal), Brussels (Belgium) and Milan.
Regarding foreign visitors, eDreams reveals that the nationality most eager to explore Spain at Easter is German with 28% of reservations, followed by French (20%), Italian (11%), British ( 7%) and Switzerland (6%).
By destination, Barcelona and Madrid continue to be preferred by Europeans, although the warm climate also drives interest in coastal destinations such as Palma de Mallorca, Malaga and the Levant (Alicante and Valencia).
