A cocktail reception and a show by singer Guylaine Tanguay raised $20,000 for the Félix-Leclerc Foundation on Tuesday on Île d’Orléans.
After two years of the pandemic, the guests dressed in their 36s to reconnect with the Foundation’s traditional benefit evening, which took place at Espace Félix-Leclerc, an enchanting site.
They were able to taste wines and bites under a marquee outside, before attending Guylaine Tanguay’s show, inside the venue.
The Félix-Leclerc Foundation’s mandate is to perpetuate the memory and work of Félix Leclerc. It administers Espace Félix-Leclerc.
Several public figures and business people took part in this evening, including Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and Chief Executive Officer of Quebecor.
He was accompanied by his spouse Pascale Bourbeau, singer, actress and artist.

The president of the Félix-Leclerc Foundation, John R. Porter, an art historian and museologist long associated with the Musée national des Beaux-Arts du Québec, and colleagues from the organization’s board of directors were also among the guests. .
Britta Kröger, president of the board of directors of the Orchester symphonique de Québec and president of the German Christmas Market, businessman and producer Jean Pilote, who held the reins of the Théâtre Capitole for a long time, as well as Luc Richer of the organization Motivaction Jeunesse were also part of the evening.
