MADRID, 18 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Topgolf franchise has signed an agreement with BAJ Golf Development Iberia for the opening of several facilities in Spain and Portugal in the coming years, as reported by the company this Wednesday.

The project, which starts with an investment of more than 30 million euros per center, will mean, on average, the creation of more than 400 jobs per facility during the construction period and another 450 after opening.

BAJ, the company that operates this franchise, is led by Pablo Juantegui, with more than 25 years of experience in companies such as Food Delivery Brands, Sanitas

Topgolf, which has more than 90 locations around the world, offers its visitors a different way to enjoy golf thanks to technology.

In the case of Spain and Portugal, its facilities will have 102 positions for outdoor play, air-conditioned and equipped with Toptracer – the brand’s ball tracking technology, which tracks each ball in flight – and three restaurants.

In addition, these venues will have spaces for private events and family programs throughout the year.

“We are delighted to continue our global expansion with locations in Spain and Portugal. At BAJ we have found the ideal partners to bring our golf experience to the region. We want to bring our proposal to even more people with new locations throughout the Iberian Peninsula” , explained Ben Sharpe, CEO of Topgolf Franchises and President of Toptracer Global.

Topgolf also operates in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, China, Germany, Mexico, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. Likewise, the company plans to open new offices in other US markets and in Asia, Central Europe and Latin America.
