The Repentigny Police Department is investigating the fire of two vehicles overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday.
The Fire Department was alerted shortly before 2 a.m. to two vehicles on fire on Notre-Dame Street, near Valmont Street.
Firefighters quickly brought the flames under control, but the extent of the damage to the vehicles is not yet known.
According to initial information, the fire broke out in a parked vehicle before quickly spreading to another vehicle.
“We do not know if it is of criminal origin or of electrical origin,” said a spokesperson for the Repentigny police department.
Investigators in search and cause (RCCI) were requested on the spot to try to determine the cause of this fire, it was specified.
