A fight degenerated Thursday evening in Montreal North, leaving two injured, one of whom was in serious condition.

An altercation broke out between two men in a business on Albert Hudon Boulevard in Montreal North early Thursday evening.

The two men in their thirties came out of the business and possibly injured themselves with a sharp object, said spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Raphaël Bergeron.

The reason for the altercation remains to be determined, according to the first information, the two men could know each other.

The two belligerents were transported to a hospital, one of them in a rather serious condition according to the SPVM spokesperson.
