A man robbed a US Bank branch Saturday afternoon on the North Side in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Details were scarce, but about 1:15 p.m. a man robbed a bank branch at 2550 N. Clybourn Ave., the FBI said.

The robber was described as a white man, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, who was wearing a black hat and a red jacket, the FBI said.

An earlier story identified the bank as a TCF branch, but that information was not correct.

About 12:33 p.m., a Chase Bank branch was robbed at 635 Chicago Ave. in Evanston. One person was in police custody.
