MADRID, 24 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The British telecommunications operator Vodafone has announced the appointment of Luka Mucic as the new financial director of the group as of September 1.

In this way, the former financial director of the German SAP, a position he held until March 31, will release the CEO of Vodafone, Margherita Della Valle, from these functions, which she was compatible with her position since her appointment as the company’s top executive at the end of last April.

“I am delighted that Luka is joining the Vodafone team. He has a solid track record of international leadership, corporate repositioning and value creation,” said Della Valle, stressing that Luka joins Vodafone “at a critical moment” in the company’s transformation.

For his part, Mucic said he was excited to join Vodafone in this important stage of the group’s development. “I look forward to working with Margherita and the team to deliver on Vodafone’s strategic priorities.”

As Vodafone’s CFO, Mucic will receive a base salary of 760,000 pounds a year (877,724 euros) and a bonus of a maximum of 200% of the base salary, as well as long-term incentives with a maximum limit of up to 450% of the base, along with a car allowance of 19,200 pounds (22,174 euros).
