The second vice president and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, begins an official trip to the United States this Monday, where she will meet with her counterpart, the acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su, as well as with representatives from the world of culture, of union organizations and congressmen.
Díaz kicks off his agenda in Washington today by holding a meeting with the head of the Department of Labor, Julie Su, with whom he will sign a Declaration on algorithmic transparency in the world of work.
The vice president, who is traveling accompanied by the Secretary of State for Labor, Joaquín Pérez Rey, will meet this afternoon with the Spanish community living in the US capital, as reported by the Ministry.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, Díaz will travel to Detroit, where he will meet with representatives of the United Auto Workers (UAW) automobile union and the artist Jonathan Harris.
On Wednesday he will return to Washington, where he will close the agenda by holding meetings with members of the House of Representatives of the Democratic Party.
