The Office, in coordination with Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), is in favour of lifting entry ban, spokesman said. Both federal government and OSCE had made ir stance “clear to Turkish side.” Hunko continues to hold on to his plans: “I’ll be ready if permission is yet to come,” he shared.

Hunko had already been electoral observer in Turkey at constitutional referendum in April 2017. He had criticized ” undemocratic and unfair conditions” at time of vote. The Turkish government accused him of sympathy for banned Kurdish Workers ‘ party PKK and doubted his objectivity.
