AKRON, Ohio – The 10th anniversary Art & Ale is set for 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 10.

The fest features craft beer and cider in the atrium of the Akron Art Museum, which is near the corner of S. High and E. Market streets in downtown Akron.

The fest is blind-judged, with a new format being introduced. A Curators Choice award will go to a selected brewer, and a People’s Choice award also will be given.

* General admission: $50.

* Museum member: $35

* Designated driver: $25

Last year, it attracted 350 people with awards going to three Ohio breweries – Fat Head’s, Jackie O’s and Spider Monkey. About two dozen breweries and distributors were part of the event.

The museum is at One South High, Akron. A parking garage is across the street.

Acme and House of La Rose sponsor the fest.
