CLEVELAND, Ohio – It appears WWE is planning to continue its run over recent years of emphasizing part-timers during WrestleMania.

Cageside Seats reports that not only will Brock Lesnar and Goldberg headline WrestleMania 33 in April. But the match will likely involve the WWE Universal Champsionship.

Right now, WWE has plans to give either one or both of the heavyweights a shot at Kevin Owens’ title. Goldberg versus Owens is the rumored main event for Raw’s March 5 Fastlane pay-per-view.

Meanwhile, Lesnar versus Owens in a special Universal Championship match during a SmackDown Live Madison Square Garden show in March is now being advertised. Though, it should be pointed out that card is listed as “subject to change.”

Still, this gives the Lesnar-Goldberg feud two chances at elevating to a Universal Championship level. Of course, the matches against Owens could feature interference from both wrestlers in order to hype their WrestleMania match.
