With an average of 63.779 departing passengers each day of the week, the train station of Brussels-North was left in 2019, the most attended in the country, according to the count of passengers issued by the NMBS. At the bottom of the scale, the station Mortsel-Liersesteenweg, in the south of Antwerp, has grown from an average of only one passenger on Sunday.
The railway axis which connects the north to the south of the capital, is, unsurprisingly, the busiest in the country. On average, 60.706 daily passengers are mounted in the Brussels-Central railway station during the week and 59.670 to Bruxelles-Midi.
