CLEVELAND, Ohio — If you need to catch up on some of the Oscar-nominated films before Sunday’s ceremony, here’s an incentive: $5 seats.

Starting today, Cleveland Cinemas is bringing back $5 Mondays at its theaters at Cedar Lee, Shaker Square, Tower City, Chagrin and the Capitol.

“Cleveland Cinemas was the first in Cleveland to offer a discount day for movie goers,” the chain’s president Jon Forman said in a release. “We are happy to be able, to once again, offer our original Bargain Monday price of $5.”

The savings extend to the concession stand where popcorn and fountain drinks are $1 off regular price.

The deal is even better for members of Cleveland Cinemas’ rewards program. They can enjoy the cheaper ticket and concession prices on Tuesday as well.

Oscar-nominated films for best picture currently playing at Cleveland Cinemas theaters include “Hidden Figures” (Capitol Theatre, Shaker Square) and “Fences” (Cedar Lee). Box office hits such as “The Lego Batman Movie” (Chagrin, Shaker Square) and “Fifty Shades Darker” (Chagrin, Shaker Square, Tower City) are also showing.
