CLEVELAND, Ohio — Reward money is being offered to anyone for information leading to the arrest of a man who robbed a U.S. Bank Saturday.
No injuries were reported in the robbery that happened just before noon in the 9700 block of Lorain Avenue just east of Cuyahoga County Employment Services, Cleveland FBI spokeswoman Vicki Anderson said.
The robber walked into the bank and handed the teller a note saying that he had a weapon and that he was there to rob the bank, Anderson said.
The man never showed the teller a weapon.
The teller acknowledged the note and gave the man money. He then ran out of the bank and investigators believe he made his escape in a vehicle.
Anyone with information can call the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400, Cleveland police 216-623-5000 or Crimestoppers of Cuyahoga County at 216-252-7463.
