CLEVELAND, Ohio – If apps are your thing, the annual Cleveland’s Finest Hors D’oeuvre contest is coming up.
The event – a fundraiser for Our Lady of the Wayside – will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at Progressive Field’s Terrace Club.
Foodies can vote for their favorite hors d’oeuvre offered from many of Cleveland’s acclaimed chefs, including:

What to know
The event is 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Pashacasino Feb. 16, at 2401 Ontario St., Cleveland. Tickets are $80. Presenting sponsor is Zito Insurance Agency. Go to thewayside.org.
Admission includes wine selections and craft-beer samples, bakery selections from pastry chef Brenda Bals of Cupcake Cravings Gourmet Cupcakes and a mobile-bidding silent auction including court club seats for the Milwaukee Bucks-Cleveland Cavaliers game on Friday, Feb. 17.
Singer-songwriters Nate Jones and Jessica Shetler, and Cleveland Firelands Collective, will perform.
Cleveland’s Star 102’s Desiray Cross, Jen Toohey and Tim Richards will host the event.
Several food-related soirees are held in the Terrace Club, which overlooks Progressive Field from the left-field line, its jagged window design offering clear views of the stadium. The 20th anniversary WVIZ/PBS Grand Tastings and Seminars was held there in November.
Cleveland’s Finest Hors D’oeuvre contest benefits Our Lady of the Wayside, which provides support services for more than 750 people with developmental disabilities. The organization manages more than 75 homes throughout Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina and Summit counties.
