Colorado House of Representatives members are to pay tribute Tuesday to former state Rep. Betty Swenson, of Longmont, who died Dec. 20 at the age of 83.

Lawmakers are scheduled to take up a House memorial resolution sponsored by Longmont Rep. Jonathan Singer at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the House chambers on the second floor of the State Capitol, 200 E. Colfax Ave., Denver.

People can watch the House’s commemoration of Swenson, who served in the Legislature from 1985 through 1992, via a remote viewing link on the Colorado General Assembly’s leg.colorado.gov page.
