 Driving under suspension, Interstate-271:

A South Euclid man, 31, was cited for driving under suspension around 11:15 p.m. Jan. 26 after he failed to slow down or stop while an officer was out on a traffic stop. He was additionally charged with no operator’s license and approaching safety vehicles.

Harassing communication, Highland Road:

A resident said Jan. 25 he has been receiving harassing emails for the last month from a woman in New Jersey, who is the ex-wife of a man his daughter had dated. He said his daughter ended the relationship and moved back to Ohio, but was also receiving harassing emails in Avon. The resident asked for no further police action and said he would file a report if the emails continued.

Fraud, Highland Road:

A man, 75, said Jan. 26 he emailed the wrong document to his life insurance company and it contained personal information. He said the company did not need the document and told him they would destroy it. Officers told him to monitor his credit information.

Theft from auto, Lander Road:

A resident reported Jan. 27 someone stole a laptop computer and a GPS device from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in his driveway overnight.

Impaired driving, Bishop Road:

A Richmond Heights man, 42, was charged with OVI after his vehicle was pulled over for weaving around 1:15 a.m. Jan. 28.

Suspicion, Lynden Drive:

A resident said Jan. 28 he received a suspicious phone call from a male who asked if he could hear him. He said he then saw a story on the news about similar scams and decided to report it. There was no fraud detected.

Theft, Wilson Mills Road:

Officers responded to Kohl’s Jan. 28 for a report of two men who had stolen merchandise and left from the area in a vehicle. They located the vehicle on Alpha kralbet Drive and arrested the two Euclid men for the theft of $210 worth of clothing.

Theft, Wilson Mills Road:

A Cleveland man, 40, left Denny’s Jan. 29 without paying for $16 worth of food. He was located and charged with theft.
