Firefighters are battling a blaze that apparently started in a Naperville home Monday morning and spread to a neighboring house on the city’s west side.

The fire heavily damaged one home on the 1100 block of Daisy Lane and burned the siding of the neighboring house.

No injuries have been reported and it appears everyone in both houses escaped safely.

Police have closed nearby roads in the neighborhood west of Plainfield-Naperville Road.
