CLEVELAND, Ohio — Meet the seven girls basketball players nominated for the Game Balls contest for their performances from the week of Jan. 30, 2017.

Grace Bradley, Chardon

Last week: The junior had a strong all-around performance for the Hilltoppers in a 59-47 win against Kenston. Bradley had 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists, eight steals and four blocks to help lead her team.

Hannah Brinning, West Geauga

Last week: The senior guard had 20 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and four steals in a 52-46 win against Beachwood, avenging an earlier loss. She had three 3-pointers in the win, giving her 22 for the season to lead West Geauga.

Delaney Cullen, Medina

Last week: In a 47-32 win vs. Strongsville, Cullen had 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks. She also became Medina’s all-time leader in 3-pointers made with 88. The record stood for 24 years.

Diamond Jones, East Tech

Last week: The senior scored 25 points to lead East Tech to a 51-40 win in the Senate Championship Game against John Hay. In the win, Jones hit three 3-pointers and had seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Jada Marone, Berea-Midpark

Last week: The Titans won three games and the senior had a big part in those wins. Marone had a school-record 34 points in the Titans’ 61-49 win vs. Magnificat and tied a school record with seven made 3-pointers. Berea-Midpark also beat Amherst, 69-60, and Midview, 78-40. Marone is 28 points away from becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer.

Elena Rauhe, Padua

Last week: The senior had 26 points to lead the Bruins past Beaumont, 98-34, then had 16 in a win against Walsh Jesuit. She is the leading score in the North Coast League Blue Division at 19.1 ppg.

Gabby White, North Royalton

Last week: She had 31 points, five rebounds and seven assists to help lead North Royalton to a 59-58 win against Nordonia. In a 53-49 loss to St. Joseph Academy, White had 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks.
