LAKEWOOD, Ohio – Today is a great day. Why? Because it’s one of the most delicious holidays of the year, National Pizza Day.
To celebrate National Pizza Day we went to local hot spot, Angelo’s Pizza, to see how they make their pizzas. Check out the video above for a behind-the-scenes look at Angelo’s kitchen.
Angelo’s, located in Lakewood, makes anywhere from 600 to 1,000 pizzas per day, so that’s a lot of dough, sauce, cheese and toppings. And that means their pizza makers are busy.
It’s not surprising though considering how popular Angelo’s is. Even Tom Hanks likes Angelo’s.
Also, FYI, Angelo’s has a Pizza Day deal where you can get a large, one-topping pizza for half price.
