CLEVELAND, Ohio —  Lorain County Volunteer Connection is a strategic partnership between United Way of Greater Lorain County and HandsOn Northeast Ohio that values volunteerism as a powerful force for change.

We offer an easy and flexible way for individuals and families to volunteer at projects while providing non-profit organizations a vehicle to further their missions. HandsOn Northeast Ohio strives to make it easy for people of all ages to volunteer in meaningful projects, led by fellow volunteers that build stronger communities.

We make it simple for volunteers to choose from a variety of projects that connect community needs with their time and interests. Participants are screened and trained to ensure a capable, informed direct service volunteer force, and through this network of individuals, we build the capacity of area nonprofits, schools and municipal agencies. There is no commitment and all projects are led by a trained Volunteer Leader, so you will never be alone or confused at a project. Any age restrictions for projects are noted on our website prior to signing up.

Engage with us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and our website, HandsOnNEO.org. Volunteers must attend a 1-hour orientation prior to their first project, unless otherwise specified. Below are some of our upcoming opportunities, please click on the title to sign up.
