A Queens man admitted Monday to smuggling more than 130 protected species of turtles through JFK by labeling the packages as “snacks.”

Hsien Lin Hsu, 46, pleaded guilty to illegal importation of wildlife before Brooklyn federal Judge William Kuntz. The Chinese citizen faces up to 20 years behind bars and deportation.

Customs agents at JFK intercepted some 51 turtles in “packages of various bags of noodles and small pieces of candy” in May 2016, court documents say. A raid of Hsu’s home found 135 more.
