An early-morning shooting Wednesday in Versailles left one man dead and another in jail, police said.
Allegheny County police responded shortly before 4 a.m. to a home on Third Street for a report of a shooting, according to Lt. Andrew Schurman. Officers found Andrew McGee, 28, of McKeesport, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Investigators determined John Robert Sethman, 29, was responsible for the shooting, Schurman said. Sethman had fled the area and was taken into custody without incident in Lancaster, Ohio.
Sethman is charged with one count of homicide, and Betvole he remained in an Ohio jail Wednesday afternoon awaiting extradition.
