CLEVELAND, Ohio – A man was hurt in a Tuesday night shooting in the city’s Central neighborhood, police said.
The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. on the 4600 block of Central Avenue, a couple blocks west of East 55th Street, Cleveland police spokesman Det. Reginald Lanton said. The victim, a 38-year-old man, was shot in the side.
He was taken to University Hospitals for treatment, Lanton said. His current condition is unknown.
No further information about the shooting was immediately released. This post will be updated if more details about the shooting are released Tuesday night.
