Robbery, Chagrin Boulevard: At 12:45 p.m. Feb. 2, a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt robbed the Huntington Bank branch at 17121 Chagrin Blvd. No gun was seen on the suspect, who gave a note to a teller demanding money.
The suspect, a Maple Heights man, 25, was apprehended the following day outside Wendy’s restaurant, 3516 Warrensville Center Road.
Theft, Chagrin Boulevard: At 7:55 a.m. Feb. 3, it was reported that someone entered a resident’s unlocked car parked in their driveway and stole a book bag, laptop computer and iPad. The theft took place during the previous night.
Theft, Brantley Road: At 2:25 p.m. Feb. 4, a youth visiting University Middle School, 20701 Brantley Road, reported the theft of a cell phone.
Theft, Fairhill Road: At 3:30 p.m. Feb. 4, a woman living in the 12000 block of Fairhill Road reported that someone stole money from her apartment. There were no signs of forced entry. Police are investigating.
Theft, Lomond Boulevard: At 1 p.m. Feb. 5, a resident living in the 17100 block of Lomond Boulevard reported that someone entered their unlocked car and stole property.
Theft, Lytle Road: On Feb. 6, a resident living in the 3600 block of Lytle Road reported that someone entered their unlocked garage and stole two bicycles. The theft occurred during the previous night.
Burglary, Huntington Road: On Feb. 6, a resident living in the 3000 block of Huntington Road reported that someone entered their home during the day through a rear door and stole jewelry and loose change.
Theft, Laureldale Road: At 12:35 p.m. Feb. 7, a contractor reported that someone stole tools during the previous night that were left unsecured in an unlocked home located in the 20000 block of Laureldale Road.
