CLEVELAND, Ohio — A 12-year-old girl reported missing on Monday has been located, Cleveland police say.
Mariehona Spraggins was found Tuesday afternoon at a friend’s home about one half-mile from her own house, according to Cleveland police Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia.
Spraggins was released to her parents after she was found, Ciaccia said.
Prior to Tuesday, she was last seen Saturday at her family’s Greenlawn Avenue home. She was reported missing two days later.
Friends of her family spotted her near Yale Avenue and East 93rd Street on Monday, but she ran off when they tried to take her home, police say.
