Single-game tickets for the Orioles’ upcoming 2017 season go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m., and the team today announced its fan promotions to go along with it.
This year’s promotions include the return of many popular staples — five Friday night postgame fireworks shows, five T-shirt giveaways, a pair of bobbleheads, a new action figure of third baseman Manny Machado and a replica model of Camden Yards on its 25th anniversary.
Closer Zach Britton (on July 1) and second baseman Jonathan Schoop (Aug. 5) will be immortalized in bobblehead form this year, with the first 25,000 fans ages 15 receiving them, while all fans at the June 3 game against Boston will get a Starting Lineup action figure of Machado.
All fans at the Aug. 19 game against Anaheim will receive a replica of Camden Yards as part of the ongoing celebration of the ballpark’s 25th anniversary, with more celebrations on that front to be announced at a later date.
Postgame fireworks will be held on May 19, June 16, July 21, Aug. 18, and Sept. 22, with T-shirt giveaways for all fans on May 8, May 29, June 21, Aug. 1, and Sept. 4.
Other notable giveaways include an Orioles welcome mat on April 22 for the first 20,000 fans ages 15 and older, a Maryland flag script jersey matching the one worn on the field on May 20, a grayscale cap for all fans ages 15 and over on June 16, a set of four bottlestoppers featuring the infield of Chris Davis, Schoop, J.J. Hardy and Machado to all fans over the age of 21 on July 22, and a knit cap for all fans on Sept. 19.
The sites and stars from Orioles FanFest on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Baltimore Convention Center.
Additionally, kids can run the bases after every Sunday home game, part of several initiatives geared toward young fans.
