CLEVELAND, Ohio – Singer-songwriter and former pro surfer Jack Johnson brings his eco-friendly show to Blossom Music Center on Saturday, June 3.

Johnson and his wife, Kim, are the founders of the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation and the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, aimed at protecting the environment and furthering the idea of sustainability. He’s known for his acoustic and soft-rock sound.

The Hawaii native, son of professional surfer Jeff Johnson, has been riding the waves since he was 5.

Fans who purchase tickets will get a download of his new song, “Fragments,” which is included in a documentary called ‘The Smog of the Sea.” The film encourages a reconsideration of “single-use” plastics, which are forming vast islands of trash in the oceans.

Tickets, $35 to $70, plus fees, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at ticketmaster.com and livenation.com and by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
