Drug abuse, Golfway Lane: At 8:05 p.m. Jan. 28, a man called police to state that a man who has been stalking his wife was standing in front of his house. The caller was concerned that the man may have a gun.

Police did not find a gun, but did locate in the suspect’s car crystal methamphetamine and a scale. The suspect’s car was towed.

Arrested and charged with drug abuse was a Massillon man, 38.

Theft, Cedar Road: At 8:25 p.m. Jan. 28, an employee of Joseph A. Bank, 25291 Cedar Road, reported that $700 worth of sweaters had been stolen by a man and woman who made it out of the store without being apprehended. The theft occurred 30 minutes before police were called.

Suspicion, Mayfield Road: At 5:15 p.m. Jan. 28, an employee of Revolve Fashion, 5686 Mayfield Road, reported that a man was stalking a female employee. The female employee left the store through a back door as the man appeared, waiting outside of the front of the store, acting as if he were there to go on a date with the woman.

When police arrived, the man was no longer on the premises.

Disturbance, Mayfield Road: At noon Jan. 28, police received a call from the Sam Ash music store, 5700 Mayfield Road, where a drunk man had entered the establishment. Police drove the man to his Richmond Heights home.

Fraud, Chickadee Lane: At 11:05 a.m. Jan. 28, a woman reported that someone used her personal identification to open a Kohl’s credit card in her name. Police contacted Kohl’s who cancelled the card.

Domestic violence, Blanchester Road: At Taraftarium 3:55 a.m. Jan. 27, a man called police stating he was in an argument with his wife because she stole something from him. When police arrived, they found that the man had a hand injury. The man said he was injured while punching a wall.

Police proceeded to arrest the man for domestic violence after it was determined that he had struck the woman across her face with an open hand and grabbed her shirt and threw her into a wall.

Theft, Brainard Road: At 11:05 a.m. Jan. 25, police were called to Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation, 1575 Brainard Road, where an employee reported that someone stole narcotics and replaced them with other, unknown drugs.

Theft, Cedar Road: At 1:30 p.m. Jan. 24, it was reported that a female customer left Nordstrom Rack, 24265 Cedar Road, via an employee rear exit. The woman carried with her stolen merchandise. The suspect got into a red car and drove away.

Two other women were with the suspect in the store. When these women left the store, they, too, got into the waiting red car. Police are investigating.
